Using a similar formula as “Audio Magic The Mixtape Vol. 1”, A-1 was able to revamp the sound and offer an improved and upgraded finalized product here for Vol. 2. And though the first installment of this series was indeed a good mixtape, this one here… ABSOLUTELY MURDERS THE LAST ONE!!! I love it. Everything from the sound quality, to the look, to the lyrical quality of the content has been improved and once again, Thee Assas'n has built an explosive cast of crime partners to ride along with him on this murder spree of a mixtape. Like usual, A-1 Thee Assas'n leads the charge as he and a swarm of hungry emcees eat mainstream musicians like cereal in the morning. Tracks that I must highlight include:
“Hot Nigga (The A-1 Remix)” (feat. Bobby Shmurda): A high-octane smash that sets the tone for the remainder of the project. Bobby’s signature flow ignites the track, leaving all listeners in awe. Then when Thee Assas'n confronts the 2nd verse like it was a murder contract and completely kills it, you know it's a wrap!!
- “Who The Fuck Is That (remix with open verse)” (feat. T-Pain): T-Pain’s melody takes center stage, weaving through a hypnotic beat with soulful harmonies. Plus, this version comes with an open area for YOU to lay your own verse down on and send it to us if you'd like!! And the addition of the lyrical storytelling that A-1 Thee Assas'n is known for, was a touch of pure genius!! His verse really elevated the song to another level of greatness. Not to mention it furthermore convinced me that
“A-1 Thee Assas'n might just very well be ONE OF THE BEST AND MOST COMMERCIALLY VERSATILE ENTERTAINERS OF OUR TIME!!” Whom else can execute a hit song everytime across such a wide range of styles and genres like he can? This track is definitely a midnight escapade waiting to happen!!! - “4 My Town (The A-1 Remix)” (feat. Drake): “The 6 God” himself again graces the Audio Magic mixtape series with another introspective verse and a chorus that resonates. A-1 Thee Assas’n and Drake effortlessly elevate each other. And every song they've appeared on together always seems to be one of the best songs on the project!! So I wonder if they could somehow arrange a whole project co-starring the two as a duo?? Because Oh My GOD!! An A-1 Thee Assas'n & Drake CD would be absolutely phenomenal. If that was to happen, It would for sure mean that it's curtains for the rest of the rap game!!!
- “They Can't Do It” (feat. Fedarro): Fedarro’s cosmic lyricism and celestial beats collide with the creativity and verbal acumen of A-1 Thee Assas'n. The result - mentally transporting listeners far off to distant galaxies. But with a smash hit like this, prepare for warp speed. Just sayin'.
