It's been 10 whole years since "THE LIFT OFF" launched and Polar's career took flight... Unfortunately, Polar didn't make it to celebrate with us. He passed away suddenly and mysteriously in his sleep one evening. Before his passing he managed to accomplish more than most musicians do their entire 30 or 40 year career, and Polar did it in half that time. From performing on the same stages as major artist like Tech N9ne, Devin The Dude and others, he carved his own path and was a leader not only in his city, but in neighborhoods all across the country, despite the hatred he received from jealous rivals. Back in 2013, DJ Swayd and Polar released a mixtape that has since changed the face of hip-hop and pushed the evolution of the game ahead a hundred steps. "THE LIFT OFF" was one of Polar's favorite projects and we are happy to honor him by re-introducing it to the world.
